At Kids’ Domain we work hard to maintain a good balance between keeping our fees affordable for hard-working parents and providing an outstanding level of education and care for your children. Fees charged to parents are reviewed at least annually and new fee schedules circulated to parents a month in advance of any increase.  Here is a summary of our current fees charged to parents (April 2018 to March 2019).

LATE FEE

Our license ceases at 5.30 pm sharp daily.  Children may not attend after this time.  It’s imperative that children leave the premises prior to 5.30 pm allowing our late shift staff to complete the end of day tasks and leave for the day.  To dissuade repetitive late pick-ups a late fee is charged.

PAYMENT FOR HOLIDAYS AND SICKNESS

Full payment is required for all absences including sickness.  For planned holidays, provided two weeks written notice is given, a holding fee of 33% will apply after the first week.   So the first week of any absence carries a full charge.   A child's place will be held for a maximum of 3 months during which time the 33% holding fee is charged.  Rather than paying a holding fee during an extended absence some people choose to forfeit their space and rejoin the waiting list.

20 HOURS ECE

Kids’ Domain has opted into the "20 hours" scheme - ensuring that all our parents of 3 and 4 year olds will be receiving a saving on their weekly fees. Funding rates for "20 hours" have been calculated to cover the bare minimum regulated standard of education and care. However at Kids’ Domain we provide well above the minimum funded standards through the provision of our outstanding early childhood education.

More info about 20 Hours ECE

Unfortunately this does mean that our current operating costs for "20 hours" are not fully covered by government funding. In order for us to opt into the scheme, all 3 and 4 year olds must be enrolled for a minimum of 2 full days per week. We do not offer half/ part days or sessional education care for these children. As we cannot charge parents for the 20 hours (maximum of 6 hours per day), we have had to build in a chargeable portion of each day.

We understand that this can be confusing so if you have any further queries regarding the "20 hours" Government policy, please see us at the Centre.
