The Charitable Society (Auckland Hospital Preschool Society Incorporated), under which Kids’ Domain operates was established in 1985 to provide on-site quality childcare for the children of families who work on the Auckland City Hospital campus in Grafton.
In the early 1990s the centre was renamed the Auckland Hospital Staff Preschool indicating a move to an early childhood education and care focus.
In 2004 the service renamed Kids’ Domain Early Learning Centre relocated to our current premises.
The founding members formed a culture with ‘people at the heart of things’. This has been carefully sustained through the years.
